About

Quality engineering as a discipline — not a department.

I build engineering systems that make quality inevitable. More than fourteen years across Deep-Tech, FinTech, Telecom, and Cyber, leading QA practices in environments where a bad release doesn't just cost money — it breaks trust.

I work upstream: operating models, testability requirements, CI/CD gates, release governance, and AI-integrated workflows. Quality is the precision of the first decision, not the last.

Experience

14+ years. Seven companies. One discipline.

  1. Quality Engineering Lead· Deep-Tech (Confidential)

    Aug 2025 – Apr 2026

Led the QA function at a Deep-Tech sensing and monitoring platform serving critical infrastructure — a hands-on technical leader managing a team across manual testing, automation, backend validation, and integration coverage. Managed and mentored 3 QA engineers and built a full-stack automation program from scratch: 300+ automated tests across critical release paths, with CI/CD quality gates in GitHub Actions. Owned quality coverage for customer-facing UI, dashboards, and real-time simulations, and validated backend APIs, workflows, load, and performance. Integrated AI-assisted workflows for failure diagnostics and coverage-gap detection — reducing manual investigation effort and accelerating defect triage. Reported to the R&D Group Manager; partnered with Engineering, Product, and DevOps.

  2. QA Manager· Sensorz

    Jan 2024 – Apr 2025

Established the QA function from the ground up as part of the leadership team — built and mentored the QA team across field validation, integration, and automation, with weekly 1:1s and execution routines that kept QA in sync with hardware and software cycles. Expanded test coverage into previously untested feature areas and embedded a dev → test → approval → release pipeline that raised delivery quality and customer satisfaction. Partnered with R&D, Hardware, Product, DevOps, and Field Support leadership to prioritize risks, align release scope, and resolve production issues — embedding QA into planning, not just cleanup. Designed release governance (DoR/DoD, risk-based planning, go/no-go protocols), accelerating delivery cadence from monthly to bi-weekly and doubling delivery throughput. Reduced regression cycle time from ~4 business days to ~6 hours by scaling regression and enforcing readiness gates in Jira/Xray, while enabling hotfix turnaround in under one hour across 100+ deployed sensors — supported by weekly KPI dashboards (cycle time, escape rate, MTTR) presented to the VP of R&D and C-level for go/no-go decisions.

  3. Quality Assurance Team Lead· Investing.com

    Aug 2021 – Sep 2023

Matrix-managed an offshore QA chapter of 6 engineers across 3 cross-functional squads in multiple countries, using weekly 1:1s, mentoring pairs, QA syncs, and transparent delivery dashboards — achieving zero attrition and multiple internal promotions during tenure. Owned release governance end-to-end, achieving 99% Xray requirements coverage and reducing production escape rate by ~35% within 8 months. Streamlined delivery coordination with Development and Product, reducing delivery cycle time by ~20%, and implemented BDD and DoR/DoD quality gates across squads — improving acceptance-criteria clarity and reducing sprint rework.

  4. Senior QA Tech Lead· AT&T Israel R&D Center

    Aug 2016 – Aug 2021

Led QA operations and cross-functional validation activities as a technical leader for distributed billing microservices (Java/Spring Boot, Oracle, Kafka) — coordinating with developers, architects, and product stakeholders to improve integration quality and release confidence. Led a cross-team API investigation that contributed to a ~20% reduction in API response times across multiple releases. Championed TDD/BDD adoption across engineering teams, strengthening acceptance criteria and regression discipline.

What I'm Looking For

Organizations with real systems, real pain, and the maturity to treat quality as an engineering discipline — not a testing department.

Ideally: Deep-Tech, SW/HW, Cyber, or complex production environments. Head of QA, QA Manager, or Technical Project Manager roles where quality engineering has a seat at the engineering table — including teams building and testing AI-native products.
